As a lifelong vegetarian, traveling the world meant discovering that yogurt could be so much more than a side dish. In small artisanal dairies abroad, I found textures that were velvety, layers that were complex, and a purity of taste that felt like a true indulgence. It was my go-to breakfast, my midday reset, and my favourite post-dinner treat.

​When I returned home to India, I realized I couldn’t find that same experience. I wanted something that felt like a decadent dessert but offered the clean, functional benefits of a powerhouse probiotic. I wanted a snack that didn't force me to choose between my palate and my gut health.

​Then came the wake-up call.

​In the years following the pandemic, I saw a shift. Like many around me, the demands of a high-pressure, "always-on" lifestyle began to take a toll. I struggled with my own gut health, and I noticed friends and colleagues facing the same challenges—fatigue and discomfort driven purely by the pace of modern life. It became clear that our "busy" lifestyles had disconnected us from the very things that nourish us.

​The journey from "idea" to "jar" was a slow, deliberate labor of love. As a woman – led brand, we leaned into intuition and an uncompromising attention to detail. We spent nearly two years obsessing over obsessing over the formulation. We knew that to get the perfect "slow-set" texture using only A2 milk and zero added sugars, we couldn't take shortcuts. We experimented with hundreds of batches, balancing the ancient wisdom of Vedic purity with the patient, artisanal French method. We weren't just looking for a "healthy alternative"-we were looking for perfection.

​During this time, I also saw firsthand how much the right nourishment mattered. When my mother was recovering from surgery, she was advised to incorporate yogurt into her diet. She had never been a fan of traditional options, but the refined, elegant texture of our “cup-set” yogurt we were developing became her favourite way to heal. It was a reminder that food should not only be functional; it should be a joy to eat.

​Today, Nuée is exactly what I spent years searching for: a creamy, sophisticated, and entirely clean indulgence that respects your body as much as it delights your senses. I invite you to take a moment, slow down, and taste the difference that patience makes.
